The SEDAR Pool is comprised of a group from which individuals will be selected to review and/or provide the data and analyses and advise NMFS regarding the scientific information, including but not limited to data, analyses, and models, used in stock assessments for sharks in the Atlantic Ocean, Gulf of Mexico, and Caribbean Sea. Nominations are being sought for a three-year appointment. Individuals with definable interests in the recreational and commercial fishing and related industries, environmental community, academia, and non-governmental organizations will be considered for membership on the SEDAR Pool. Health Resources and Services Administration Advisory Committee on Heritable Disorders in Newborns and Children AGENCY: Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), HHS. ACTION: Notice of Request for Nominations. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- SUMMARY: The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) is requesting nominations to fill three (3) vacancies on the Secretary's Advisory Committee on Heritable Disorders in Newborns and Children. Authority: Section 1111 of the Public Health Service (PHS) Act, 42 U.S.C. 300b-10, as amended in the Newborn Screening Saves Lives Act of 2008 (Act). The Committee is governed by the provisions of Public Law 92-463, as amended (5 U.S.C. App. 2), and 41 CFR Part 102-3, which sets forth standards for the formation and use of advisory committees.
