General Information about the Operation of Federal Advisory Committees

The Advisory Committee concept provides a superb opportunity for participation by citizens and interested organizations for participation in the conduct of more than 1000 Advisory Committees. The difficulty in in organizing possible interested parties so they actually make nominations, provide information, and participate in the committee deliberations.
